Lena Dunham was born in New York City in 1986. She’s still there, although she left briefly to attend Oberlin College (she graduated in 2008 with a degree in creative writing.) Now, she writes and directs movies and shows. Lena was one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film (2009).
